NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence

NEBOSH and Great Britain’s Health and Safety Regulator, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), have jointly developed a new one-day qualification that shows how non-complex incidents can be investigated effectively.

The interactive thought-provoking content shows how leaders can influence health and safety performance and culture through their actions and behaviours.

The one day qualification covers the following topics:

  • What health and safety leadership means
  • The moral, legal and financial reasons for good health and safety leadership
  • The links between health and safety leadership and culture
  • What the different leadership styles are
  • How human failures can impact performance and culture
  • The HSE’s model of effective health and safety leadership
  • How leaders can build effective relationships with the workforce

Fully ONLINE

The training and exam will be Live Online via Zoom application:

  • Teaching and assessment 7 hours
  • Pre-course reading: 3 hours
  • Total 10 hours

Qualification grading

Your assessment will be marked by your course tutor. You will receive a ‘Pass’ or ‘Refer’ for each part of your assessment. Should you be referred, your course provider will be able to provide you with further support. Your course provider will work with you to identify where your submission did not meet the required standard. This will allow you to resubmit once you have revised your assessment
